April Meeting -"Technology 101 - Class is in Session: Demonstration Presentations on the Latest in Audio Visual"
Monday, April 9, 2007

Technology is moving at the speed of light, and sound.  Many applications call for audio-visual solutions, but most of us have not kept pace with what is technically available.  What’s the difference between LCD and Plasma screens?  How about a marker board that is smart enough to save your sketches to a computer?  Have you seen the 3-D application created right here at the University of Minnesota?  How about a room where the presenter can control the lights, blinds, screen as well as the projector with a touch of a button?

Join us in April for a progressive (or “round robin”) educational opportunity, where each classroom will teach you a different feature of the latest available audio-visual technologies.   Dinner will also be progressive, with a different item served in each classroom.
