Bob Jorgensen

Bob Jorgensen is celebrating his one year anniversary as a member of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter this June.  Having been acquainted with CSI educational opportunities for some time, he passed the Construction Documents Technologist examination way back in 1995.  Since then, he has put this knowledge to good use as a project architect and specifications writer for The Associated Architects and Afton Architects and Planners.  Recently, Bob accepted a position with Leo A Daly as a senior project architect with their Federal Government Team and joined them May 23rd in their Minneapolis office.

Originally from Iowa, Bob received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Architecture degrees from Iowa State University where he was a teaching assistant in architecture history while in graduate school.  After graduation, he spent two years in Fort Myers, Florida, before migrating back to the Midwest and working for architectural firms in Iowa City, Mason City, Rochester, and Northfield before establishing the Twin Cities as his home.  An additional educational opportunity he recently pursued was attending the Institute for Liturgical Consultants at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.  After becoming involved with the chapter during the past year, he regrets not becoming a member earlier and future plans include seeking additional CSI certifications.

In his spare time, Bob enjoys horseback riding, cross-country skiing, canoeing, fishing, camping, biking, an occasional round of golf and social dancing.
